GL bank account Currency balance vs. base currency balance incorrect

Hello Suite people,


i wonder if anyone has tips/suggestions on what would be best practice to fix this issue. After running subsidiary Currency Revaluation (Unrealized Gain/Loss) USD bank balance is almost $0, but base currency is -$33k. its known that this result is because of incorrect exchange rate overtime, but because company cannot touch previous accounting periods (regulations) we cannot fix incorrect ones.
