Create a custom 'Attach File' field and replicate the ATTACH EXISTING action within a custom subtab

edited Sep 7, 2023 3:22PM in Ask A Guru 7 comments

Hi Team,

I am attempting to replicate the 'ATTACH EXISTING FILES' functionality found under the 'Files' tab action within a custom subtab. However, when I create a custom field with the field type set to 'Document,' it becomes disabled in record view mode. On the other hand, the 'ATTACH EXISTING FILES' field remains accessible in record view mode. Could you please advise if it is possible to achieve this and, if so, how?
