New to NetSuite| NSPB: Connection Settings

The NetSuite account can be integrated to Oracle EPM Cloud Planning and Budgeting. Part of Planning and Budgeting Sync Checklist is to set the NSPB URL and save the your EPM Cloud credentials in your NetSuite account. User credentials and Service URL should be stored to be able to access the Planning and Budgeting environment directly from NetSuite.

1. Log in to NetSuite using the Administrator role

2. Go to Planning & Budgeting > Jobs > Connection Settings.

Note: If role used is not an Administrator you cannot access the Connection Settings page and get the notice below:

You can also access the Connection Settings page from Planning & Budgeting Sync Checklist by going to Planning & Budgeting > Setup > Sync Checklist and click View link for The NSPB URL is set feature.

3. Enter credentials that you use to connect to your Planning and Budgeting environment:

a. In the URL field, enter the URL that points to the Planning and Budgeting environment you want NetSuite to connect to.

Depending on your Planning and Budgeting instance, the format of the URL may look similar to one of the following examples:

• https://elm-test-idDomain.epm.dataCenterRegion.oraclecloud.com/

• https://acme-epmidm.epm.us-phoenix-1.ocs.oraclecloud.com/

  Note: If your Cloud Account has been migrated to the new OCI, continue using the old Classic URL.

  b. In the Username field, enter the username you use to sign in to your Planning and Budgeting environment.

  If your URL ends with .ocs.oraclecloud.com, enter the username as is. If your URL ends only with .oraclecloud.com, you need to precede your username with the domain name:

  <your_domain>.<username>

  You can get the domain name from the Planning and Budgeting login screen.

  c. In the Password field, enter the password you use to log in to your Planning and Budgeting environment.

  Note: Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) should be disabled for the Oracle Cloud account being used in this page. Otherwise, the connection settings will fail because MFA adds another layer of security when signing into Oracle Cloud while Connection Settings does not have it.

  The following screenshot illustrates the Planning and Budgeting login screen with the domain name, username, and password when sign in using Traditional Cloud Account:

  4. In the Planning Application Name field, enter the name of your Planning and Budgeting environment. For example: NetSuite.

  Planning Application Name can be seen beside the Oracle logo in your Planning and Budgeting environment.

  

  
  

  5. Click Save.

  
  

  An error message will be returned when username and/or password were incorrect or Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) is enabled for the Oracle Cloud account being used in this page.

  

  
  

  Note: You can confirm the username and password were correct if you have successfully logged in to Oracle Cloud website using the same credentials. See the help topic Sign In to Your Account From the Oracle Cloud Website.

  
  

  Once you have completed this process, you should be able to access your Planning and Budgeting environment directly from NetSuite by going to Planning & Budgeting > Access > NetSuite Planning and Budgeting. You can also check SuiteAnswers ID: 97568 for reference.
