Why is Saved Search filter by Employee not showing all Names?

Good Morning

We have a few saved searches that include 'employee' in the results and as a filter, these have worked without issue for a long time then about six weeks ago we noticed that people's names are no longer available in the filter?!

Why would this have changed and how do we fix it? This is not a permission issue, the result is the same for administrator.
