Can't wave by header ship date

Hi,

We have been struggling with this since we have launched in NetSuite. We have the simple request of wanting to see orders to wave that have a ship date (header) that are on or before today. If we use the Ship Date (header) as a filter we get incorrect results. On the wave results screen, the Ship Date(header) maps to the line level Expected Ship Date which is not the same as the Ship Date(header). The expected ship date can change and his different logic incorporated with it and is used for some other scenario/business process.
