Zero ($0) dollar customer payment
Hi,
We have a scenario where, the sales order amount is let's say $1000. A customer deposit is created for $820. There is a discount of 18% (a custom solution) that is applied on $1000. So, the system at the time of payment calculates that to $180. Hence the payment record will be for $0.00. There are no credits or deposits that are applied for this. However, native NetSuite functionality does not allow a $0.00 payment record to be created without any credits or deposits.
Is there a way, maybe via script, that we can create a payment record for $0.00 without credits & deposits? Has anyone done this before or know that this can be achieved via script?
