FAM Asset monthly depreciation value to high

We have assets that we entered the Asset Original Cost value and the amount of months the asset will depreciate, but the monthly depreciation amount is incorrect. It is too much, and the asset is depreciating faster than it should. Does anyone know what is causing this issue?
