Linking all the Transaction to the Item after recreating

Hi All,

We wanted to implement the FIFO costing method for our items and we were using the Standard costing before so for the newly created items the FIFO approach is working.

For the existing items, it's not working, so to FIFO work we have to recreate the items in the system

Our challenge is that we have many existing items (14k), so we have to recreate the items, But is there any way we to recreate the items and link all the SO, PO and other transaction records?

Would be great if any other possible solutions to this issue.this costing method issue for a long time now.
