SuitePeople U.S. Payroll: Campbell County, Kentucky Occupational License Fee Calculation Update
This notice is intended for customers who are using SuitePeople U.S. Payroll and you withhold Kentucky (KY) tax.
Starting January 1, 2024, the Campbell County Occupational License Fee will be split into three separate tax codes with different rates to accommodate a new calculation method. All employees working in Campbell County, KY should be withheld for all three rates.
What is Changing?
Starting January 4, 2024, the three new tax codes for Campbell County, Kentucky will be available in NetSuite. The existing tax code, “Campbell County License Fee,” is being renamed to “KY, Campbell County OLF-General.” These tax codes will display under the Taxes subtab of the employee record.
