Credit Memo PDF/HTML Syntax Error

Hello,

We have a credit memo template that is printing negative totals as shown below.

This is not accurate and the totals need to be positive. In the credit memo code, i see a minus symbol at lines 139, 182, 183 and 191. I try to remove the minus symbols but get the error below.

Ive attached the code below as well.
