Setting Delivery Terms on Customer Record

Hi,

Is there a way that I can get the Delivery Terms on customer record? At the moment I have a custom list created and sourcing delivery terms. I've a workflow to set that delivery terms on the customer's transaction, like SO and Invoice.

Wanted to know if this is the best way to get this or if there is some way that we can utilize the native field for this?
