Why is the cost accounting status not showing?

Hi

I have two accounts with the same NetSuite account SKUs (SuiteSuccess Manufacturing Standard).

One is a demo account and the other is a sandbox account.

Why is there no cost accounting status in the sandbox account?

This field is visible in the demo account's item's location sublist:
