SuitePeople U.S. Payroll: Georgia G-4 Filing Status and Dependent Allowance Schedule Change
This notice is intended for customers who are using SuitePeople U.S. Payroll and you withhold Georgia tax.
The Georgia Department of Revenue published new Withholding Tax requirements effective January 1, 2024. With this update, the agency has eliminated personal allowances, added a new adjustment allowance on Form G-4, and has updated Filing Status options.
What is Changing?
On February 21, 2024, it was communicated that Oracle NetSuite will have updated filing status options on the G-4 Form available on February 22, 2024. The schedule has been changed to March 8, 2024.
Starting March 8, 2024, the filing status options will be updated on the G-4 Form:
The Personal Allowances field will be eliminated starting
