New to NetSuite | Creating Projects from Sales transactions of Service Items
Now that we know how we can create projects in many different ways via this guide: New to NetSuite | Creating Projects using Project Management did you know that you can also create projects from Service Items on Sales Transactions?
Users can create projects from Sales Orders, Opportunities, and Estimates as long as they are using Service For Sale and Service for Resale items only. Using these items not only makes project creation diverse but also simplifies tracking project-related transactions.
Create a Service item for project creation:
1.) Navigate to List > Accounting > Items > New
2.) Select Service Item for Sale/Resale
