NSC | Troubleshooting SFTP Connection: UNEXPECTED_ERROR

Encountering unexpected errors during the attempt to connect to its SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) server can be frustrating. If you've come across an error message such as "UNEXPECTED_ERROR" accompanied by the detail "null," don't worry. For troubleshooting always check the following.

  • HostKeyType Option Configuration
  • Configuration of restrictToScriptIds, restrictToDomains and password
  • Firewall Considerations

By paying attention to configuration details such as host key types, access restrictions, and external factors like firewalls, you can enhance the reliability and efficiency of your connections to NetSuite's SFTP server.
