Reporting-only Parent for Customer Record
Good afternoon, The company is exploring are a major overhaul of our current Customer record structure.
Customer Concept is to have a brand new Customer record created, active, but not Finance, Order Entry, and Sales workflow approved (these are custom checkboxes) to essentially act as a Reporting-only Parent.
Thus, all existing Parent customer records and any associated child records will be flattened. Would like to ensure that there is some type of mechanism of control over this ERP Reporting Parent to allow for all transactional reporting natively in NS UI (as it cannot also be marked as inactive for Data Warehouse reasons), but prevented from having posting transactions tied to the ERP Reporting Parent record.
