How to resolve: There was an issue during the data retrieval process.

Question

Hello,

We received an error "There was an issue during the data retrieval process. Please contact your administrator" for our Citizen's CSV Transaction Feed.

What are the possible reasons why received this error? Can you suggest any troubleshooting we can do?

Hi @Irichelle Monterozo-Oracle Check for any inconsistencies or errors in the data within the CSV file. Invalid or corrupt data entries can cause issues during the retrieval process.

Anytime I troubleshoot, the first thing I do is copy and plug the error into SuiteAnswers.  When I did that, Voila!  Suiteanswer 92077

Scenario

Using a Custom Role with Full Permission on Financial Institution Records, the user gets an error: "The server could process your request. If the issue persists, please contact Support." on the Connectivity Configuration tab of the Format Profile page when attempting to link bank accounts.

Solution

Add Certificate Access permission to the Custom Role.

* Using Administrator role, navigate to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles
* Click Edit on the Custom Role
* Go to Permissions > Lists
* Select Certificate Access permission set to, at least, View level
* Click Save

Note: After performing such steps, Format Profile > Connectivity Configuration should show the banks available for linking.
