Items Fulfilled and Grouped to see Counts and Comparison

I want to make a saved search that will show specific assemblies that have been fulfilled with the fulfillment date, fulfillment # and sales order #. I then want to be able group the counts of each of these assembly #s to see how many of each were fulfilled each month. I want to be able to see the month over month and year over year difference. It would be great if it could be a KPI or visual representation on the dashboard. Does anyone know how I can make this search and see the month over month and year
