Create Intercompany Project for multiple subsidiaries

I am confused…

Where do i find documentation talking about the idea that i have a service agreement between two subsidiaries. I create a PO that creates a linked SO.

Yet i want this SO to have a linked project so i can track external spending on the project. The deal is these external costs are marked up and really only the marked up amount should eliminate on consolidation.

Just want to know where i can learn about this functionality as i have heard that projects does not work nicely with intercompany and want to know our options!
