Zimbabwe Gold Replacing Zimbabwean Dollar
This notice applies to customers using the Zimbabwean dollar ISO code (ZWL) in NetSuite currency records.
What Is Changing?
On April 8, 2024, the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe introduced Zimbabwe Gold as the official currency of Zimbabwe, replacing the Zimbabwean dollar. To support this change, the NetSuite e-fix on May 9, 2024, added the ZIG ISO code to the list of NetSuite-supported ISO codes.
This change does not affect any existing transactions in your account. NetSuite will continue to support the ZWL ISO code used for the Zimbabwean dollar before this currency change. Additionally, we will continue to provide exchange rates for the Zimbabwean dollar (ZWL) currency pairs for as long as we receive them from Xignite.
