Extend a Suitebilling Subscription

I have a customer, who is currently billed from 05/01 - 04/30 annually, and the receive their invoice in April. They would like to pay for two months and change their subscription to 07/01 - 06/30 and receive their invoice in June.

When I asked NS Support I was told to extend the subscription, which would then result in the April invoice each year being for the requested dates of 07/01 - 06/30 but not having the invoice go out in June due to the billing schedule on the subscription.

Support advised I would have to create a brand new subscription to create the change I'm looking for.
