Removing bomAssembly and bomAssemblyLocation Subrecords
This notice is intended for customers using Advanced Bills of Materials.
What is Changing?
With the release of NetSuite 2024.2, you will no longer be able to use the bomAssembly and bomAssemblyLocation subrecords in your scripting.
These subrecords were not intended to be used for this purpose. Instead, use the assemblyItemBom subrecord for scripting.
Recommended Actions
The bomAssembly and bomAssemblyLocation subrecords are deprecated and will no longer be available after the release of NetSuite 2024.2. As an alternative, use the assemblyItemBom subrecord in your scripting.
In case you have some customisation based on these subrecord, please notify your partners, that created customisation for your account.
