Calendar Event Insufficient Privileges

Today, a NetSuite user who has always been able to create an event on a resource calendar was not able to any longer and received a notice "Insufficient privileges." I tried it as well but got the same error. This has never been an issue before. I am the owner of this resource, have the necessary permissions, etc. I tried to add an event to a different resource calendar and in a different role but I still got the same notice "Insufficient privileges." Nothing has changed. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?
