How to export a payment file securely to an internal folder

Hello

We have been told that when a payment file is approved that you have to download the file from the file cabinet and upload into the banking software.

IS there a a way to export the file to a server location internally where we can lock down permissions? I know there is an option to do sftp but how to export to a server location
