Widen/Remove Columns in Advanced PDF/HTML Template

I am having trouble updating an Advanced PDF/HTML Template. See the screenshot below. I want to make the Item column in the table wider so that it fits on one line. It would be great if I could also get the three columns with nothing in it to be removed or merged so they are not open columns. I've tried to expand the column, merge other columns, delete columns, etc. but I get error messages. Does anyone know how I can do this?
