Changing Item Types in NetSuite: Inventory, Serialized, and Matrix Items
Hello everyone,
I need some guidance on changing item types in NetSuite. Specifically, I'm looking to understand if it's possible to convert existing items between different types. The scenarios I'm interested in are:
- Changing an inventory item to a serialized item.
- Changing a serialized item to an inventory item.
- Changing an inventory item to a matrix item.
- Changing a serialized item to a matrix item.
Questions:
- Is there a provision in NetSuite to change an inventory item to a serialized item and vice versa?
- Can an inventory item be converted to a matrix item, and a serialized item to a matrix item?
