NSC | Resolve Error: INSUFFICIENT_PERMISSION on RESTlets that run Map/Reduce or Scheduled Scripts
RESTlet has been widely used by businesses serving either as a solution for out-of-the-box REST API functionalities or to streamline their operational workflows. Among its capabilities, RESTlet enables the scheduling and execution of Map/Reduce or Scheduled Scripts.
However, sometimes integrations hit a snag with an error message saying 'INSUFFICIENT_PERMISSION.' To get past this hurdle, just double-check that your integration role has all the permissions it needs:
- SuiteScript (Full level) - You need this permission in order your role can programmatically access the deployment record of the map/reduce script.
- SuiteScript Scheduling (Full level) – This is needed specifically for N/task module will work.
