NSC | Why is my Custom Record not following the Permission sublist?
When using Custom Records, you might encounter an issue wherein the permission sublist is not being followed. In this article, we'll guide you on how to fix this by changing the Custom Records' settings.
Scenario:
You have a Custom Record and you want it to be restricted depending on the Permission sublist as seen below:
Explanation:
The reason behind this is because the Require Custom Record Entries Permission is selected. Meaning, this Custom Record will follow the permissions set on the Role itself (Custom Record Entries Permission)
Solution:
On the Custom Record Type page, make sure the field below is set accordingly:
