Hi,
I am really puzzled on this issue. I have a saved search that uses formula(HTML). Here is the snippet of code that doesn't seem to work as I would think. This a progress bar that gets a different color based on the value.
<progress style="
'||CASE WHEN {custentity_dhi_avg_mfg_lead_time} <= {custentity_dhi_mfg_lead_time}*1.1
THEN 'accent-color:green;'
WHEN {custentity_dhi_avg_mfg_lead_time} < {custentity_dhi_mfg_lead_time}*1.2
THEN 'accent-color:orange;'
ELSE 'accent-color:red;'
END||' float:right" value="'||{avg_mfg_lead_time}-{stated_mfg_lead_time}||'" max="'||{stated_mfg_lead_time}||'">
</progress>
The saved search says "Error: Invalid expression" when I the value="{avg_mfg_lead_time}-{stated_mfg_lead_time}". If I change the minus sign to a * or a / then I don't get the error and my saved search formula loads. Why can't I use the dash as a minus sign? How can I subtract? I noticed the + symbol also will error out as well. Is this a limitation or a bug? I do not understand. Any advice would be great. Thank you.
