Automatic creation of a Project for Service Items

Hi guys!

We need a clarification on creating projects from SOs containing Service Items.

We came across this NS article:

As per our understanding, by clicking "Create Project" checkbox on the Service Item record a Project record is automatically created in the system from every SO containing this Service Item without any user manual interaction.

Is that correct?
