How to apply sales discounts only on sales transactions and PO discount only on Purchase transaction

Hi community,

I am having the issue that sales discounts and purchase discounts appear on every invoice and/or bill, and I would like to restrict. Meaning if its a purchase discount then this should appear only on purchase transactions.

Any clue? This is for the discountitem field, above the line items.
