Fixed Asset Legacy Import records for Fully Depreciated and Mid-life assets

edited Jun 2, 2025 2:50PM in Accounting / ERP 11 comments

Hi. I have to import assets from a legacy system some have no Net Book Value.

Upon researching many of the posts in the Oracle Community the instructions are to have 2 upload templates one for the asset master data and another one for the deprecation histories for Mid-Life Assets.

Is it necessary to have 2 templates for Fully Depreciated assets? I could not find a definite yes or no answer on this?

Also on Mid-Life assets regarding the depreciation history upload. The instructions show multiple depreciation histories for every period of depreciation. Since we are uploading fixed assets records that need to finish their life in NetSuite, can we upload 1 cumulative depreciation history record?

Howdy, Stranger!
