Is Current Net Book Value on FAM Assets not scriptable?
This is a field I am otherwise able to edit and save manually.
I have a script that helps with the movement of assets, however I don't seem to be able to edit the custrecord_assetbookvalue field using this method. I am able to merge assets and have their original and current costs put together, but Net Book Value just doesn't seem to be able to get hold of. Can I not? If I put in a flat value, nothing changes either, so it's not my calculations.
How would I otherwise update the current net book value with an accurate cost? I've tried messing with some fields and running asset depreciation in an attempt to get the netbook value to recalculate but to no success. Is there some other way to force netbook value to update itself?
