Why does no Payment is created after accepting Payment for Invoice?

hi. i am not sure why or if this is really the normal behavior but upon clicking the accept payment on invoice then applying both Invoice and JE (as credit and debit) under Apply tab, upon saving the Payment it is not available on the Payments page. not sure if i did something wrong. If this is a normal behavior, how do i see the Payment that was saved?
