Update to OSS Feature Requires Changes to Domain Implementation
This notice applies to customers where one or more of your websites might not be properly configured to work with an upcoming One Stop Shop (OSS) feature update. If you are using a not secure shopping domain, a default checkout domain, or a second level shopping or checkout domain, then your domain will not work with the updated OSS feature.
What is Changing?
The OSS feature in NetSuite calculates the correct tax for a shopper browsing your catalog based on the shopper's location. For the OSS feature to work correctly, your domain must be set up properly. The OSS feature determines the correct tax calculation based on the country code, which beginning with the NetSuite 2025.1 release, is provided by Akamai headers. Akamai is NetSuite's approved CDN provider, and if a request on your domain goes through Akamai, then the OSS feature can work as expected.
