As announced during SuiteWorld '24, NetSuite OpenAir will be rebranded to NetSuite SuiteProjects Pro, starting January 25, 2025.Please discuss the changes with your IT team in addition to making users of your company’s OpenAir account aware of the rebranding. If your company is using spam filtering, firewall, domain or redirection safelisting or allowlisting, your IT team will need to make the necessary adjustments in advance of the target dates for these changes.
What is changing?
The rebranding includes the following visible changes:
- Product name - References to 'OpenAir' will be replaced with 'NetSuite SuiteProjects Pro' or 'SuiteProjects Pro' in the web application as well as in SuiteAnswers and Documentation.
- New domain available - New domains will be enforced on January 25, 2025 (target date) for sandbox accounts. For production accounts, new domains will be available for a limited time before enforcement (redirection) to allow you to test any network configuration changes.
- Domain redirection - The URL for SuiteProjects Pro (previously OpenAir) services will use the domain name netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com instead of openair.com. All access to sign-in page URLs with the openair.com domain name will redirect to the new domain equivalent. After signing in, users will be redirected to an account URL with the netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com domain name. Any links or bookmarks including your previous account URL with the openair.com domain name will redirect to the SuiteProjects Pro sign-in page, even if the user has an active SuiteProjects Pro session in a different browser tab.
- Email sender - The sender for all email originating from SuiteProjects Pro (previously OpenAir) will be www@netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com instead of www@openair.com.
When will these changes occur?
The changes will be delivered in phases starting January 25, 2025. The target dates for rebranding changes are different for your production and sandbox accounts, as outlined below.

All access to sign-in page URLs with the openair.com domain name will redirect to the new domain equivalent. Required action
Please discuss the changes with your IT team. If your company is using spam filtering, firewall, or domain safelisting or allowlisting, your IT team will need to make the necessary adjustments before the target date for these changes. The following actions may be required:
- Include the following domains to any domain allowlist:
- netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com
- outbound1.netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com
- outbound2.netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com
- <company-id>.app.netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com
The existing outbound and relay domains outbound1.openair.com, outbound2.openair.com, and relay.openair.com are not changing and should still be included in any domain allowlist until further notice. Equivalent domains for netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com will be added to work in parallel with the existing outbound and relay domains. Outbound domains for openair.com may be removed at a future date.
- Update any safelist or security tools to allow redirection from openair.com URLs to netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com URLs.
You should also make all account users aware of the product name and URL changes. Users of OpenAir Mobile will likely need to update the app to version 5.1.5 or later to ensure that it continues to work as expected after the target date for domain redirection. Review SuiteAnswers article "Introducing SuiteProjects Pro" (SuiteAnswer ID:109873) regularly for any additional information that may become available between now and the target dates for rebranding changes.

- This is a mandatory change. There is no option to opt out or defer the date of the change.
- The new domain for your production account will be available for testing purposes with the product name change on January, 25, 2025 (target date). Between January 25 and February 15, 2025 (target date), you will be able to access the sign-in page using either the new or the previous URL, but you will be redirected to your openair.com account URL after you sign in. Be sure to test any configuration changes in your company’s network by verifying access to the new sign-in page and account URL, and to ask your IT team to take necessary remedial action promptly if you cannot access netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com URLs.
- There are no feature or functionality changes to the web application with this update.
- A new version of the mobile apps for iOS and Android devices will be available on or near January, 25, 2025 (target date). The new version refreshes the app layout with new colors, icons, and fonts, using the Oracle Redwood Experience. To ensure that the mobile app continues to work as expected after the target date for domain redirection, users must update the app to version 5.1.5 or later.
