Error when File Dragging and Dropping on a text field.

I have File Drag and Drop (ver 2.11.0) enabled on a custom record. I have added a field of type Textarea (also tried Rich Text, and Free Form Text) . In edit mode the field turns green and allows me to drop an image file. I get an immediate error of "Line item should be saved first before any file can be attached to it". There on no line items and the field is in the Primary Area of the form. I am expecting the file to be added to the file cabinet and the url to populate the text field.
Anyone else seeing this issue? If so, did it get resolved or do I need to report this to NS?
