Load Open Balance vs Trial Balance Load
Hello Gurus,
This is an interesting topic & I am writing my understanding here. Feel free to comment.
When we load open balances, we follow the 2 below approach in sequence.
- Load Open Account Balance using Setup —> Accounting —> Enter Open Balance
In this case, we will load the balance left in the legacy system. We are getting the COA with initial balance from the Legacy application.
- Load Trail Balance using JE. Here, we will bring the TB and load into the system.
Is this the correct sequence?
