Products and Services - Settings

To setup the settings for your products and services in NetSuite QuickStart Edition, start by navigating to:  Ask Oracle button > Products and Services > Settings.

This area of NetSuite allows you to setup the following:

  1. Units of Measure - define various units used to stock, purchase, and sell products and services.
  2. Pricing Preferences – define Price Rules and Tie-Breaker Preferences.
  3. Price Rules - define base prices and sales prices.
  4. Tie-Breaker Preferences - this preference allows you to decide what happens if NetSuite finds more than one applicable price for the same item.
  5. Item Categories - enables you to set item categories on your items.
