Get started with Units of Measure

Assigning correct units of measure to your items helps you to buy, sell, and stock your items in the selected unit of measure. Units of measure are also used for other item-related records, such as pricing settings and stock levels.

Settings
There are two ways to go to the Units of measure settings:

• Ask Oracle button > Products and Services > Settings > Units of measure.
• Ask Oracle button > Global search. In the global search field, you can type "units of measure" or a part of the word combination.

On this page, you can see the list of existing units, their abbreviations, and status. We’ve predefined a list of standard default units, so that you can start using them immediately.
