Auto-Generated numbering maximum

Hi again,

I think this is an easy question, but I couldn't find an answer for it.

When using Auto-Generated numbers what would happen when you reach the final number?

For example, i've setup the numbering to be 5 digits with a prefix. When I get to PRE-99999 what would happen when I try to create another transaction?

The digits in auto-numbering refers to the minimum number of digits in the auto-generated number, not the maximum.

When you have reached PRE-99999 for numbering with minimum digits of 5, the next number will be PRE-100000.
