Change in Access to Some Custom Records in Field Service Management
This notice is intended for customers who use NetSuite Field Service Management (FSM). With the NetSuite 2024.2 release, changes were made to custom records with the access type No Permission Required. To allow more control over who may access custom record entries, NetSuite 2024.2 introduced a more precise setup. For more information, see the help topic, Setting Permissions for a Custom Record Type, SuiteAnswers ID 10148.
What is Changing?
Field Service Management version 2025.01.1, targeted for release on February 18, 2025, updates the following custom records:
- Field Service Employee Non Working Day
- Field Service Non Working Day
- Field Service Work Calendar
- Field Service Consumable
- Field Service Time Zone
