Support Case Workflow - Show message based on date

I would like to setup a workflow to show a message when a customer is out of warranty after a product is sourced into the case.

We have an existing workflow that allows for a user to easily search for a product that specific customer bought. Once that product is selected, it will auto fill several fields with information on that product, including warranty start/end dates and extended warranty start/end date.

I would like to setup a workflow to display a message when the products warranty end date is not in the future. I need it to specifically be not in the future as this would be an and state saying that the warranty end date and the extended warranty end date are not in the future.
