New to NetSuite | Resolve Error: “The file upload failed...” During import with a default parser
When performing bank imports using default parsers in NetSuite, such as CSV, OFX, QFX, BAI2, or CAMT.053, users may encounter various errors. One prevalent issue users face is related to file naming conventions, and the below error is likely to occur during the import process.
This error typically happens when the file name exceeds 50 characters. NetSuite has a system limitation that prevents imports for bank statements if the file name is too long. To resolve this, simply shorten the file name to meet the character limit, ensuring a successful import.
By being mindful of this simple yet crucial detail, you can efficiently navigate the bank statement import process in NetSuite.
