Workforce Management Time Clock Updates for Illinois Biometric Privacy and User Experience
Starting March 10, 2025, new enhancements will be available for WFM customers in managing new and existing locations in Illinois and when configuring Time Clock devices.
This notice applies to the following:
- You are a SuitePeople Workforce Management (WFM) customer.
- You may be using Time Clock to manage employee time and attendance.
- You may be using WFM to manage locations in Illinois, U.S.
What is Changing?
Starting March 10, 2025, the following enhancements will be available for WFM customers:
- Support for the Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) for Illinois locations – The following enhancements are available to facilitate compliance:
- When selecting punch-in options in the New Device wizard, you can only use pin codes for devices in Illinois locations. The fingerprint scanning option is unavailable for these locations.
