NSC | Creating Subprojects (Child Projects) via CSV Import
Importing subprojects in NetSuite works similarly to regular projects, with one key difference: you need to assign a Parent Project as a Customer when importing a .csv file. This is similar to a UI process as discussed in this article: New to NetSuite | Creating Child Projects.
For example, there is a Parent Project with customer:
Here's how you can do it via a .csv import:
1.) Navigate to Set Up > Import/Export > Import CSV Records
2.) Select Relationships as Import Type and Projects for Record Type and select your .csv record
Make sure to add the Parent Project in the Customer column of the .csv file
