HOW DO I CREATE A CUSTOM LABEL?

edited Jun 10, 2025 1:59PM in Ask A Guru 4 comments

We are attempting to create a new custom label with multiple custom fields in NetSuite. When navigating to the Labels section under Customization and adding a custom field (using the format${custbody.field.information}), the field remains blank and does not display any data.

I reviewed SuiteAnswers for guidance, but the provided instructions appear outdated or incorrect. The tabs and options described in SuiteAnswers do not align with the current interface, as if recent upgrades changed the layout without updating the documentation.

Has anyone successfully created a custom label with custom fields, or is there an updated guide or clear instructions available?

Thanks,

Brian Nick
