From NSAW, can I schedule and email a workbook visualization as excel?

I have some workbooks, that are just tables or pivot tables, that the user wants provided via email as an excel document. Is that possible? I saw a suite answers 105762 that indicates this can be done through the classic view, but I don't see the edit option on my workbooks in this view.
