How to reallocate stock for a kitted item?

Is it possible to use the Reallocate Item functionality to allocate stock for a kitted item to a different sales order?
For example, we have two sales orders SO A and SO B. SO A is for 10 of kitted item F and SO B is for 1 of kitted item F. We only have 1 kit F in stock so we'd like this allocated to SO B. Is this possible?
