How to revalue inventory for lot numbered items where costing method is "Average"

edited Jul 3, 2025 3:58PM in Ask A Guru 6 comments

We have some lot numbered inventory & assembly items which are defined with costing method as "Average". Now we wants to revalue the inventory as on 31-Mar-2025 for those lot numbered inventory & assembly items.

Is there any option/process available in NetSuite? As there is Adjust Inventory Worksheet but it is not applicable for lot numbered items, also there is Revalue Standard Cost Inventory options available but it is applicable only for item which is having standard cost.

We tried through inventory adjustment, as we passed a negative adjustment on 31-Mar-25 and again passed an inventory adjustment for positive quantity with new value in 31-Mar-25 but system is not showing the inventory value as per the adjustment passed on 31-Mar-25, instead it is showing some other value calculated by system. I have attached the screen shots of inventory adjustment.

Howdy, Stranger!
